Clunk in Front end - 21 Laramie

My truck with 55K miles did the same thing. It was the sway bar bushings. I replaced them with Energy Suspension Silicone ones. problem solved. Loved them so much I did the rears too, they were only $11 on amazon.

    Considering a Switch to Ram

I have what is basically, a fully loaded Longhorn so its easier for me to tell you what I WOULDN'T get if I had to do it over again. 1. Would not get the E-torque motor: I actually get 2-4 mpg LESS overall than my 2014 Laramie. So, in my experience ,its adds nothing to the MPG or driving...

Unless you can find a schematic, I think you'll need a multimeter to figure it out

How are you using your rear seat under-seat storage?

Recovery rope with shackles/soft shackles Work gloves Bungie cords Blanket First aid kit Snow brush Extra set of wiper blades (for snow/ice storms) Come to think of it, I can believe how much crap I fit in there!

    Detailing and Waxing

Coming from someone who lives in the NE and used EVERYTHING in the past 30 years, If you dont mind polishing every 2-3 months then TW ICE SPRAY WAX or TW SEAL & SHINE are great, decent lasting, easy to use finishes. If you like liquid then Collinite 845 is the way to go. But really, ceramic...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Well, got the truck back yesteday after the new rear driveshaft install. Feels like new again! Amazing how a little lack of grease in there can cause such an issue. I hope the supplier, or RAM started recognizing this issue and began stuffing more grease in the slip yoke. Id hate to have this...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

I think once the lift is done, the driveshaft Is now at a new resting length (more extended). This now repositions the yoke at a different wear point and/or positions the yoke at a point where there may be slightly more lubricant. If this is the case then my guess is that the clunking will...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Well the tech drove with me and confirmed the issue. He remembered my truck and told me they greased they carrier bearing and the hanger mounts last time. He confirmed the issue and ordered a new driveshaft today. Only problem is they said, according to the computer, it likely won’t arrive until...

    Rear end clunk

Brought my Longhorn in today for the second time for this issue. Last time, PCM flash did nothing. Tech drove the vehicle with me and acknowledged the issue. They called and said they're ordering new drive shaft for me. Unfortunately they're telling me it looks like the part wont be in until...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Taking my Longhorn in for the second time for this today. Software update did nothing. For those of you who have air suspension I also noticed these "bumps" occur several times while lowering the vehicle while in park, indicating it NOT a transmission problem, but further down the...
