Actually bought the blade lightly used for $1800 and had a dealer do the install for $400, the plow is on a Rebel with 5.7 hemi and normal charging system, the lower frame I remove in the spring probably weighs 50-75 lbs, best guess.
My ‘19 Rebel 1500 plowed very well , but , I did buy a 1/2 ton specific plow , 450lbs instead of 800lb setup , 3” lift and installed a frt Timbren kit. I only plowed my very long driveway, no commercial plowing and never drove around with the blade on.
I would seriously consider upper control arms to keep front end geometry in check with a 3.5” lift. That is why I did the complete kit from Rough Country on my Rebel. 50,000 mi on my truck with no issues and maintained stock ride quality . Installed 295/75-18 tires after lift.
