Removing the tailgate from 2020 RAM 1500

Got it done -- just needed to pull the tailgate off to the right, just took a lot more force than I was expecting (I thought it'd just slide right out). Had it probably a 45 degree angle roughly.

Removing the tailgate from 2020 RAM 1500

The left retaining ring is definitely closed/O-shaped -- I tried sliding it to the right, but per an earlier comment, the tailgate might need to be positioned differently in order for it to slide out.

Removing the tailgate from 2020 RAM 1500

No, I did try sliding it to the right as shown, but perhaps the missing piece is the specific position the tailgate needs to be in. I'll give it a shot!

Removing the tailgate from 2020 RAM 1500

I found another thread on this topic, but either I'm totally missing something or it's just shameful user error . . . I do not have the "easy off" tailgate. I've removed the wiring brackets/harness, unclipped the cables, and I can easily lift off the right side of the tailgate, but the left...

Getting a cabover camper | Question about payload + safety

I have a 2020 RAM 1500 Bighorn with a payload capacity of 1,790 lbs. I've been looking at truck campers that are all <1,200 lbs, but came across one at a killer price that's 1,300 lbs dry. Throw in a 20lb propane tank, 10lbs of water, gear, me, my girlfriend, and my dogs, and I'm probably up to...

Turning off the headlights in my 2020 Ram 1500??

New RAM owner here. In my 2020 RAM 1500, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to turn off/adjust my headlights when the vehicle is running . . . In all dial settings -- off, parking lights, on, auto -- the headlights just remain on. Fog lights don't turn on when I push the fog lights...

    Turning off the headlights

Were you able to figure this out? I'm new to a 2020 1500 Bighorn and my low beams are on 100% of the time, regardless of the position of the dial. I don't see any settings on the Uconnect display that would allow me to disable daytime running lights.
