I wanted to follow up on my P026C code. Since my last post, I've had the light go on and off several times. I have learned that the light is triggered after 50 miles of the code pending. I've been able to make the light disappear by locking the truck out of 8th gear (I have 3.21 gear ratio) for...
How many miles do you have? My light has stayed off for a few hundred miles, but I’m not convinced it won’t come back on.
I want to pull the MAP sensor and inspect it. I’ve seen reports of dirty sensors at 50,000 miles. I am at 45,000.
A brief update on my P026C code. I saw some references elsewhere online to some success driving the engine hard. I added some injector cleaner to my fuel, changed my air filter (which was admittedly passed due and pretty dirty), and drove the engine very hard for ~50 miles. I did probably 6 hard...
Same thing happened to me this week. Code P026C on my 2021 Laramie ecodiesel. Truck seems to run fine. 44,000 miles. I’ve used EDT for every tank.
What are you using to monitor injectors?
Awesome! That’s good to know. I removed the wire and tried it a few weeks ago, but I still got a fault. I’ll check for other wiring issues, but having confirmation that it works is great.
Will give it a try and report back. I can confirm that the ground in position 8 is currently there. Just have to figure out how to disassemble the connector
Working on adding BSM to my 21’ Laramie. Has anyone tried with LED taillights and jumper 300AA? All the wires are populated. The 220AD jumper is backordered and various vendors have cancelled orders because there is no ETA.
I’m willing to repin the connector if I can get a schematic.
Just reached a little over 10,000 miles with my comma on my 1500. Just upgraded to a Comma3 recently. Until our trucks are officially supported, it does take some technical know how. But it’s worth the effort.
