My current set up is I reinstalled the ORP springs and used the top hat spacer from RC 3.5" kit. I also reinstalled the original UCA's and shocks. I removed the rear spacer form the kit. So basically my ORP Laramie is all stock with the exception of the RC top hat spacer. It rides good enough. I...
Well, I took my RC spacers out and reinstalled my ORP coils. I left my 295 65r20 Toyo's (35.1") on the truck. I did do a little heat adjusting to the front fender liners with the spacers. No rub moving forward. Only rubs when reversing and turning to the left. The ride is like stock, obviously...
Out of curiosity .... are your spacers the welded metal ones or the "plastic" ones. Mine are a one piece round plastic and I noticed the earlier versions of the spacers were welded metal. The material won't change the ride obviously, but my plastic ones squeak when any of the weight distribution...
I've mentioned this in a different thread but ... I had the RC 2" level coil spacers installed on my ORP Laramie. I hated the ride and the noises. I blamed it on the ORP coils so i swapped out to the non-ORP coils. Same issues with the ride and noises. I would think installing the spacers...
Don't use the RC 2" coil spacer lift. Your local shop is correct. The ride quality is terrible. I have it currently on my truck (originally an ORP truck, changed to non ORP springs) the ride is the worst. I will be removing the lift and reusing the ORP springs very soon.
Yes it is very hard to locate. I ended up removing the cover for the e-brake. That gave me access to the two screws holding the switch plate in place. Removing the switch plate made access much easier. Thanks for the info.
Did you remove the RC preload spacer? Did it solve your issues? Was the preload spacer the black plastic spacer? The metal one is for the top hat right?
Hello all.
I just installed the RC 3.5" lift kit and installed 295 65r20 Toyo Open Country M/T's on my 2019 Crew cab 6'4" box RAM.
I'm currently trying to plug in the RC speedo calibrator. The instructions tell me to plug the unit into a green block under the dash. There isn't anything green...
I too have not selected a city for the traffic and weather. I still get weather alerts from several counties away from me. I found a setting in the user preferences that allows a person to disable notifications from SiriusXM. I turned that off and all it did was remove the clock from the...
