Biggest Tires on Stock 4x4 Suspension

Closing in on 2 years and 30k+ miles, and getting around to finally getting new feet. I'm wondering if anyone has a truck similar to mine and has already done what I'm contemplating - I've searched the site a bit and followed this thread for quite a while but may have missed something. Seems...

Finally got my Daystar spacers installed.

I seem to recall other parts were needed than just the spacers (new control arms?) when folks discussed this last year. I'm getting serious about new rubber, and though I'm using the Revel Links to level (raised front / lowered rear a bit) I'm seriously thinking of doing it right and adding a...

Tire wear? ORP / Falken Wildpeak AT3A

I have around 20k miles on my 2019 Ram at this point, and have noted tire wear (scalloping of one side of the edges on the outside of the tire, perhaps inside as well). I've kept the tires aired up to around the recommended 38PSI, and rotated them every oil change (3 changes so far). Anyone...

    Moab

Had some fun in Moab wandering around a portion of Fins N Things. Nice to have the extra clearance from the air suspension, though I suspect articulation was hurt. Stock tires did OK; 34 or 35” would have been better. Locking gift really helped. Only scraped 3 times (once each running board...

Best Tonneau Cover for the Rambox

Does anyone know of a ram box compatible hard tonneau that fits on the top of the BUG rails? I have a minimum height I need in the bed for some gear; I have about 1” of clearance in the center with the ram soft tonneau, so as much as I’d like to go BakFlip mx4 or Sentry I’m not sure either will...

    Winch mounts?

Lots of room for sure. I ended up putting a front hitch on - not the greatest for real offload adventures, but at least I can keep the winch out of the salt now. The CURT front hitch will fit with a little modification (adding spacers mostly), or removing the factory tow hooks.

    Anybody running Cooper at/3 xlt's?

I had them on my last truck (AT3, not the newer AT3 XLT), quiet, good traction, and wore really well. Likely what I'm getting when I go bigger for my '19 Laramie ORG.

Which level/lift option for Air Ride is best?

I used the Revel links to just level the truck (lowered the rear a little, raised the front a little, about 3/8 rake now, far better than stock. No errors, ride is about the same. I have ORG, so 1" higher already. I'm planning on putting 34 or 35's on next year (wearing down the stock tires a...

Roof racks? and a Rambox measurement question...

I had similar requirements (towing camper with canoe and other gear). I really like the expedition rack over the tonneau. Makes the truck even more useful. The Yakima racks do fine for a canoe up top with a crew cab, just secure the bow and stern too.

MPG effect of 3.92 rear end

eTorque, ORG, and 3.92 makes for fairly lousy mileage it seems. 15.7 seems to be a longer term average, though when I headed on an extended trip (with canoes on the roof no less!) I managed to have a tank at 17mpg. I'm sure it will suffer more when put 34 or 35's on;) Like most of us though I...

    Quiet A/T tire?

I believe that is AT3/WA for the OEM tire. Slightly different than the AT3/W oddly enough! Not a bad tire so far (6k miles so far) but I’m going bigger once I wear these down a bit.

Roof racks? and a Rambox measurement question...

I left some space between the "L" and the plastic out of habit. The rail is a bit more flexible than your might expect - it tightened down fine without spacers. That said, I did squeeze some mini cell (closed cell) foam in there (I have it in sheets) to help keep water out. Given the ability...

Roof racks? and a Rambox measurement question...

Here is how I fabricated them - and then below how I might do it next time: -bent some 1/8 flat stock so the top 3/4" or so was at 90 degrees to the rest that hung down a bit further (I did measure at the time, but do not have the measurements. If you remove the tonneau rail you'll see that you...

    Quiet A/T tire?

I had Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my last rig, nice and quiet for 30k miles (when I sold it... still plenty of tread). Good in snow even though not "severe snow" rated (just M+S), at least for the size I had. I'll likely get the newer version (AT3 XLT) when I tire of the stock Falkens (which...

    Warn removable winch install

On my last rig I had a warn XD9000 mounted up front. It was great to always have it there, but living in the northeast I've rebuilt it twice now over the past 12 years due to salt damage, so this time around I opted to use the existing hitches and a Warn winch cradle and run heavy duty leads...
