As others have said, the OEM LEDs are much better than the OEM halogen fog lights hands down and I wouldn’t recommend going through all that work for worse light output. If you’re looking at installing Diode Dynamics light pods though, that’s a different story. I swapped out my factory LED fog...
The mirror lights were plug and play for me, I had zero problems installing them. It’s not the greatest, but I did take a photo of the plug hooked up before reinstalling the mirror cap. I did wrap the plug with some electrical tape as a precaution after taking the photo, just make sure you have...
1.)The side mirror turn signals came off of Amazon (the brand is Mingrui), I’ve included a link to them below as well as a photo with them lit. When I got mine they only had smoked lenses but they now have clear as well. I’ve had mine installed for over nine months with no issues and have been...
I’ll throw my 2 cents in! My Longhorn tends to stand out locally already in stock form, I’ve yet to see another Longhorn in my slice of Ohio with the MFT in the 2+ years I’ve had mine. Despite that, I still had to put my spin on it to really make it “mine.” In terms of mods, I’m all about subtle...
For once the weather was actually dry in northwest Ohio for a full weekend and I was finally able to get my AWE 0FG exhaust with polished tips installed today. I got a gold deal on Black Friday directly from AWE, but I held off a few months installing it to prevent salt/brine exposure for a...
Judging by your photos, it looks like you have the Commuter System from Carli Suspension. The rear end links and multi-rate rear coil springs give it away. This lift/level kit comes with special custom tuned Fox 2.0 shocks and is not a standard Fox 2.0 shock. Their shocks actually have a...
I’ve had these on my truck since early August and they seem to be holding up fine so far. When I bought mine they only had the smoked lens at the time but I was fine with that. Install wasn’t too bad and they fit pretty good for an aftermarket housing. Plus, I just love the way they complement...
Yes, 305/45/R22 tires will stick out 0.5” further on both sides of the wheel than the stock 285/45R22 tires. My current setup is the factory coil over suspension and I have had zero clearance issues in the 7,000 miles I’ve had these tires installed.
When I bought my Toyos from Discount Tire they filled them to 39 psi but I dropped the pressure to 38 psi for slightly better ride comfort. The general consensus I’ve come across has been between 38-42 psi for 305/45/R22 tires, so YMMV. As long as your tires are wearing evenly you should be good.
I have 305/45/R22 Toyo Open Country AT3‘s on the Limited-style wheels with stock suspension. Even though most tire brands recommend a minimum wheel width of 9.5”, the OEM 9” wheels are fine with this tire size. I’ve been running mine since late August at 38 psi and I’ve had zero issues with them...
The projector headlights were one of the biggest reasons why I went with a Longhorn. They’ve been a godsend when driving at night, especially after switching to night shift last summer.
Here’s a couple photos of my Longhorn from when I washed it couple weeks ago. My options and most of my mods are listed in my signature. I’ve had it now for a little over a year and it has been a great truck for me so far!
The biggest draw for me to the Longhorn was the Black/New Saddle...
I changed out the oem LED fog lights on my Longhorn last weekend with the white DD SS3 Pro kit through RetroShop. It took me a good 3 hours to get both assemblies swapped out and properly aimed, but I probably could have got done sooner if I took the wheels off. As others have said, everything...
I got mine upgraded to the Platinum Package for free. I signed up for their newsletter a couple weeks before I started looking for a Longhorn because I was dead set on their cover but I wasn’t going to buy one until I had a truck in my driveway. A month had gone by from when I signed up to the...
Unfortunately they don’t. They advertise it fitting the standard bed with the standard tailgate only. My truck doesn’t have RAMBoxes but I do have the MFT. This setup has the standard bed so I was able to retrofit the Peragon cover onto my truck with just additional hardware and made zero...
