Starting to order parts to add this to my son's 2022...did anyone figure out what the correct terminal and wire seal numbers are for the 2021+ rear fascia connector?
Thanks!
-Chris
Yep, luckily they work well. Made some necessary changes with Alfa, only thing left is figuring out what to do with DRL.
The lights themselves had a red lead that Form says to run to a fuse (harness included), but Im curious if there is a lead to connect it to that goes back to the BCM and...
FYI - they fit just fine. In our case, at least, they didn't even need the adapter harnesses. 2022 Big Horn with the factory halogens, 12 pin connector. Same 12 pin went right into the new headlights.
Spent a bit of time trying to figure out how to adapt the factory 2 pin marker light...
yeah its weird...
From Form's website:

Isnt that like...*all* of the trim levels?
That's what I thought, too. How could they not have them work with the DT series that has been out for 6 years at this point?
They got back to me and said the connector is the issue.
"The incompatibility is the connectors for the lamps. The Big Horn will need a specific adapter. Currently...
Was all set to order Form lighting for our 2022, but their website shows it as incompatible with pretty much most of the trim levels (including Big Horn)
Is that true? They confirmed it is true, but it seems like there are plenty of people using them, surely someone put them on one of the...
Not sure if its still a thing, but a while back I remember Canadian trucks registered in the US not getting any warranty, if that matters to you (2020 may have some powertrain warranty depending on timing and mileage)
We recently picked up a used 2022 and will be oil-based undercoating it shortly.
The only real "rusty" spots are the rear diff, which is just surface rust. Seems like in 2022 they changed how it was coated from the factory and they all seem to surface rust pretty easily. Every 2022+ used...
That was my dilemma with RedLine. I put about 6K miles/yr on my truck. Do I spend the money on RedLine, HPL, etc and run it for over a year? Or do I spend (far) less on a decent 5W-30 (chosen by checking VOAs, UOAs, etc) and change it twice a year?
Id hate to drain RedLine or HPL without...
Id like to try it. A bit expensive for my tastes, though. I used RedLine a while ago and it was nice, but again a bit expensive, especially for the few miles I put on my truck.
Now that I have 2 Hemis in the family, it might make more sense to buy a good oil in bulk. The other option is a...
This is true. Smarter people than myself have mentioned its because of how much more horizontal the pushrods are, they get noisy.
In my brain, quieter is better because it (might) mean there is "cushion" between the moving metal parts. Cam lobes, pushrods, etc. Also with heavier weight oils...
My 2017 (bought new) is noticeably quieter with a decent 5-30W oil. Oil pressure at hot idle is also a bit higher. Our 2022 specs 0W-20 but I wouldn't run that either.
For anyone worried about 5W-30 vs 5W-20 (or 0W-20), a lot of -30W oils sheer down to 20W pretty quickly. If it ever came...
