Since the Y81 update, I got exactly 1,000 miles to 1/8 tank of DEF. It seems to be burning the same amount of DEF before and after the Y81 update.

Does anyone have any experience with Doc's Diesel products? Doc's fuel filter is about $10 less than Mopar's. They also have good pricing on fuel, air and cabin filters. Any feedback???

The fuel filter is simple to change. 100% agree with using a large zip-lock bag to catch fuel and the cap. Tip: Loosen the cap first then cover the cap with the zip-lock bag. On my first fuel filter change, I put the zip-lock bag first and the socket ripped a hole in the bag and I got fuel...

Based on my driving habits, ~65% highway and ~35% city, I get around 7,000 miles to the DEF tank. I once took the DEF level to "refill soon" but had no issues starting. Since the Y81 update, I'll keep an eye on DEF usage and report in a few months.

I too live in TX and took truck in for oil change. They flashed my software for a Y81 recall/update. My work order mentions DEF. I’ve driven my truck for 22K miles and know how it drives. It now seems to be reving higher and less turbo lag. I’ll keep an eye on DEF consumption and MPG.
