For what it's worth... I got the new iPhone 15 Pro and had connectivity issues with CarPlay in my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited. I'm connecting USB-C to USB-C, and it would connect sometimes and not connect sometimes. I read in an Apple form that another Ram owner was having the same issue. He...
I had the pleasure (not) of using the OEM jack to change a flat tire. Shame on RAM for including a jack made for a Kia. What a piece of junk.
Any recommendations on a replacement jack that works well with the RAM 1500?
Solid Write-Up: As for #6, the wife will definitely go in the Mazda. <<wink>> I was thinking of loading the Mazda with the heaviest cargo to reduce the truck's payload LBS.
Hey guys! I have a 2020 Limited Eco Deisel with the 3.21 gear ratio. The family is gearing up for a 780-mile journey to drop the kiddo off at college. We are planning to tow her car using a UHaul auto transport trailer. We are driving from Dallas, TX to Auburn, AL, with a stop halfway in...
This morning about 50 miles from home, I got the low oil pressure warning. Similar to other people's stories, it seems to occur after an oil change. I changed my oil (Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w-40) 5 days ago and drove the first four days with no issues. I only had low-pressure issues when...
Does anyone have any experience with Doc's Diesel products? Doc's fuel filter is about $10 less than Mopar's. They also have good pricing on fuel, air and cabin filters. Any feedback???
The fuel filter is simple to change. 100% agree with using a large zip-lock bag to catch fuel and the cap. Tip: Loosen the cap first then cover the cap with the zip-lock bag. On my first fuel filter change, I put the zip-lock bag first and the socket ripped a hole in the bag and I got fuel...
Based on my driving habits, ~65% highway and ~35% city, I get around 7,000 miles to the DEF tank. I once took the DEF level to "refill soon" but had no issues starting. Since the Y81 update, I'll keep an eye on DEF usage and report in a few months.
I too live in TX and took truck in for oil change. They flashed my software for a Y81 recall/update. My work order mentions DEF. I’ve driven my truck for 22K miles and know how it drives. It now seems to be reving higher and less turbo lag. I’ll keep an eye on DEF consumption and MPG.
