As I've stated before the Touring was definitely louder than I expected/wanted. I didn't love the system on this truck BUT I still love Borla! The company and customer service are top-notch!
I purchased through an authorized dealer but I contacted Borla directly and respectfully gave them my...
Hahaha that was actually the best part of it. I had a couple in a Tesla at the market look at me like I raped their poodle! How dare you burn those poor dead dinosaurs!!
Tested, and nope. If you manually deploy when stopped they’ll retract when you drive off but then it reverts back to default... deploy/retract with the doors open/close.
I agree Sir. I had the stock system re-installed and silence has never sounded so good! The Borla definitely sounds mean! It’s awesome but IMO it’s not a “mild growl” as they claim, more like a roar especially when you’re on it.
I really did like the agressive sound OUTSIDE but I (and my wife)...
Yeah I know you can manually deploy them but who wants to do that every time you park? I’d like the option to auto deploy when parked and retract when driving. I don’t mind the look when it’s parked, I mean all running boards that aren’t power (most) are “deployed” all the time anyway. Just my...
Why don’t they just stay extended when parked? It could be an option in settings. I mean if you park, get out and lock the doors you‘re obviously gonna want them extended to get back in, right? Would be especially helpful when it’s raining. :)
The 3.92 should have better acceleration than 3.21, but does anyone have any idea of the time difference from 0-60? Are there any actual numbers out there?
:ROFLMAO: Exactly! One man's perfect sound is another man's divorce... which is why I've decided that just reading opinions online really doesn't give you solid info.
Exact same system on exact same truck... some love it, some hate it. I rolled the dice and lost. :(
;) yes but if I recall you ended up there AFTER you had both a Magnaflow cat-back and a Borla Touring cat-back installed. I wish I would've tried the Borla muffler-only option first. The major problem I've discovered is one man's "beautiful and perfect" is another man's "Holy crap are you...
Soooo... I'm going back to stock. My local shop owner said he can weld Humpty Dumpty back together again and re-install for $150, says it'll be good as new. That seems like the best exit strategy at this point. I'm not confident the extra Borla resonator will dampen it down enough and I don't...
Thanks, I thought some people might be looking to unload OEM. A guy in SoCal already contacted me. If I decide to go back stock what’s the going rate for a Borla touring cat-back with about 20 miles on it? LOL.
