FINALLY… An alternative to the overpriced ADD bumper (basically only) option for the Rebel. Love this way this looks man… Very clean and simple and not gaudy/stupid overdone for the mall crawler market. I was literally about to buy one just now as the listed price looked great…
But…
Then I...
Can someone confirm if the upper and lower acceent or signature lights on the LED headlights can be made brighter on the US trucks using AlphaOBD? I want to keep these white LED strips as my DRL (I know they arent DRL) but i just want them to be brighter.
150% agreed on that Yota bumper looking good. In fact, that is literally exactly what I have been looking for, including I want the bull bar on it also. Preferable mid-height but i'd take a full height one too if need be.
I spoke to N-Fab who makes a bunch of nice pre-runner style front bumpers...
What do you mean "exact measurements on how [you] will fix the gap"?
Also, yes please share more information on the other forums with "alot of pictures" of non-rebel bumpers fitting flush onto the Rebel.
Hey sooooooo...
Now their website specifically states "fits all trim levels" for this winch bumper. Was this statement there before, or did they end up test fitting a Rebel and found out that it worked? And if so, what does it look like as it can't be the same version that is made for the other...
If you build a pre-runner style front bumper that actually looks good, I will be your first customer without a doubt.
The bumpers out there now (pre-runner style) are god awful, starting with that one on the first page of this thread. There is a newish one that just came out as well, and...
So that's it, huh? Seems like nobody knows the exact answer to the differences.
If the differences were simple enough, I'd also just purchase one for the other trims and modify it to both make it work and look as good as possible. It just blows my mind that all of these "off-road" parts...
Yes, the non-ORP/Rebel rear springs will get you down 1" in the rear, but no way to get that other 1".
1" will make a visual "level" difference but there will clearly still be a rake.
Out of my own curiosity, why don't you want to make specifically just the front any higher?
So, (apologies if this has been answered elsewhere) can somebody please explain to me exactly, down to the nuts and bolts, why the Rebel trim/model is always excluded from the plethora of aftermarket bumpers available for all of the other trims? This non-fittment fact did a great job at pissing...
I'm late to the game, so apologies, but I will still answer (kind of) your question for others who might reference this thread.
If you ever want to know if you'll rub on either end, just do the simple math on whatever the change is and measure available space on your truck. For instance:
You...
So... Yeah man... I'm not gonna lie the more I look at this setup the more I really think this is a crap design as far as the adjustment collar/ring goes (and locking the collar/ring as well). So, the ring only has the one tightening screw, correct? If I were to completely remove the tightening...
