    88 Octane

I I am now at 162,000 miles on my hemi. And I’ve never put a drop of anything but 87 octane in it. Runs like a champ. I pay close attention, particularly in the summertime listening for pinging, but I’ve never heard any. But this makes me really curious about 88 octane so I will be watching...

2023 Lone Star 1500 - went from 84 miles remaining parked to empty 12 hours later

Well, honestly it sounds like you indavertantly left the truck running when you exited. It then idled till it died and then killed the battery. The low battery would explain the many warnings, this is a well-known issue. Hate to admit but I've done this a couple times, which I chalk up to...

    Power Running Boards?

At one time, like 10 or 15 years ago AMP was the OEM supplier to RAM, but that hasnt been the case for several years. When I got mine I researched to find the manufacturer and I did but I cannot recall who it is, nor did I seem to store that information anywhere. If I think of it I'll repost.

    Moaning-Droning-whatever: very frustrated

@Pop's Ram - here's a strange thing. The noise is gone. literally no evidence of it ever being there. I waited about 3 weeks to be sure, but I never hear it any more. Puzzled, but happy for now.

    Power Running Boards?

Thats a bummer to hear. I've got 159K miles on my 2019 with the Mopar PRB's and not a single issue. Knocking on wood. I do spray the mechanical joints but just occasionally. Temperature never seems to make a difference. Wonder if i'm just getting lucky so far. I do love them though. so...

    Moaning-Droning-whatever: very frustrated

Well it certainly sounds like we have the exact same problem. I had a mechanic tell me of a non-urgent concern about one of my axles/differentials, but that it was far too early to worry too much about it. I'm trying to reach hime and will advise if this is at all related.

    Dreaded Hemi-tick

Just curious, what makes you certain it's not an exhuast leak?

Thanks for the ideas! I don't think mine is ANC related, and I dont have a roll-up, but do have a tri-fold soft cover. I believe I can rule that out too given the miles I've put on with the cover and the nature of the sound going in and out at many different speeds.

Disconnected battery, check lights not going away...

As I understand it, it's not just the amount of time that has passed, but the number of start/run cycles too. I watched when walmart installled my AGM and they did 5 cycles in a row and all my lights were out immediately.

    Moaning-Droning-whatever: very frustrated

Bummer! I wish it were as simple as a dang harmonica...both an easy fix AND and respect for whoever would have done that to me. I may need to use that trick on someone someday soon. In fact, I have a harmonica in my truck as we speak so I am armed. We both have 2019 Hemi Laramie's...I...

    Moaning-Droning-whatever: very frustrated

@Pop's Ram, I'm curious if you were ever able to get to the bottom of this noise. My truck has 153K miles and this noise started in the last few thousand miles. It's getting slightly worse as time goes on. I never hear it when idling, which is often, and it exhibits no similarity to a bad...

    Input on AT tires

They are amazing in deep snow for an all season tire. Pretty darn good off road too.

    2019 Ram 1500 limited

That was my question too! I just turned 150K on my 2019! OP, sorry about the troubles, but very common issue with Limited's.
