I want to change my own oil and keep it consistent with what the dealer is using. I know I've seen before it's some sort of synthetic blend, but is it possible to buy that and is it cost effective? Or is there an alternative that you know of?

Some people are bad people. It's the "must be nice" mentality. Since they don't have a nice vehicle then "screw you". If you dwell on it too long it can eat you alive. I just try to protect myself the best I can and try to be a nice person because I don't wanna end up sour like them.
Sorry this happened to you. For clarification, do you mean the window did not break but is not mounted in the door correctly? Or are you looking for an entire replacement window?
