What did you do to your Ram today???

last time I did everything but coolant and ATF. It was pricey grabbing all of that fluid. Coolant was hard, I am going to wait until spring to do the transmission though. it's too damn cold outside.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I just did coolant which is in my experience an 80-100K sort of fluid so I guess ATF is gonna happen as well. It is expensive but less so than a transmission :P

What did you do to your Ram today???

I did all of my fluids (except transmission fluid) at 40K. Hitting 80K soon so I think I’m going to do it again CAlled the dealership and they said 100K is what they’d recommend for automatic transmission fluid for my use case (2-5K miles a year towing).

What did you do to your Ram today???

Finally snow is sticking up north. Putting the winter wheels & tires on this weekend. This is how it looks at 1600 feet elevation about an hour north of me: Unrelated...partially related. Started our "Nearly a teardown" remodel this week. Dug out 48 feet for a new 2 car tandem garage, 2 new...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It's on the forecast!!! Here are some photos from last year. I run the 20" big horn wheels with Blizzaks in the winter. more side-wall and cheaper tire cost. OEM so no centering rings required. Bought them from a buy here for I think $100 each.

What did you do to your Ram today???

7500 mile oil change in the EcoDiesel. Thank goodness because I really don't like doing oil changes in the winter so the timing was perfect.

What did you do to your Ram today???

75,000 miles so things are starting to need attention. I changed my rear brake pads and rotors about 2,500 miles ago. Fronts weren’t due yet (6mm) pads but I did them anyway because doing maintenance in the winter without a garage really sucks so now that nights are getting colder, I decided to...

What did you do to your Ram today???

2,200 miles in 3 days on the EcoDiesel. Crossed 70,000 miles on the 2021. I picked up a new car in Indianapolis (I'm in central NH). 2002 BMW 330 Ci in Steel Blue Metallic with just 2 previous owners and 30,000 miles on the odometer. All original, dealer maintained and garage kept and just 1100...

What did you WITH your Ram this weekend

Winter is almost over (still some snow on the forecast and below freezing) but wishful thinking, we're back on OEM 22s and brand new rubber (Michelin Defender) all around. Hit 70,000 mile last week on the EcoDiesel so I did Air & cabin filter, Diesel Fuel filter, Oil / filter and looked...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Not my day for ice fishing. Vermont is in blizzard conditions and the wind chill right now is insane.

What did you WITH your Ram this weekend

After 2 years living in Charlotte North Carolina, we’ve returned back to Northern New Hampshire. Which means, I threw the 20” RAM chrome wheels + Blizzacks back on for winter mode and stuck the night edition 22” limited wheels in the garage.

Service interval after fuel pump recall

I do all of my own service and have been doing these every 10,000 miles. Not required at all but they're not that expensive (I come from German car world). I'm doing oil at 5K and fuel filter at 10K. Buying parts in bulk. don't drive that much since I commute on motorcycles.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

It required a trip to New Hampshire but I finally had the recall performed today. No discernible difference but it's done now. It took 5 hours from drop off to pickup. Looks like they billed RAM about $800 for the work (labor + part). They also re-alignedthe tailgate as it came off the roller...
