I use one of those hose drain things that screws into the drain plug which has served me well. Been laying on my back under cars & motorcycles on jack stands for the last 20 years on a dirt driveway. It's going to be so nice to finally have poured and epoxied concrete with a tool box and a car /...
My garage is 8'6" ceiling height if I set the RAM Air Suspension in the lowest height, can I even get the truck off the ground enough to do tire swaps? Since you mentioned you have a small garage, I'm building a garage that's 11x40 feet...yes 11 feet wide. It'll be a nice garage but it's going...
Thanks. I'm budgeted to buy the 8000TLX, their priciest model but both TLX models have that minimum 43" spread so if I can get a TL and get away with 60" then that will make the lift I buy safe for my tiny sports car and my big diesel.
Fair call out but I will say through some research, there...
I have a 5th gen Ecodiesel 6'4" bed and curb weight is just over 5,000 pounds so I'm looking at the 6000TL versus 6000TLX. The thing is, I have more than one vehicle including one of my cars is a short wheel based Audi TT RS and therefore a minimum spread of 43" on the 6000TLX might not be...
last time I did everything but coolant and ATF. It was pricey grabbing all of that fluid. Coolant was hard, I am going to wait until spring to do the transmission though. it's too damn cold outside.
I just did coolant which is in my experience an 80-100K sort of fluid so I guess ATF is gonna happen as well. It is expensive but less so than a transmission :P
I did all of my fluids (except transmission fluid) at 40K. Hitting 80K soon so I think I’m going to do it again CAlled the dealership and they said 100K is what they’d recommend for automatic transmission fluid for my use case (2-5K miles a year towing).
Winter setup activated. took off the 22” Night Edition wheels wrapped in Michelin Defender tires and for the 20” Big Horn wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak Tires
Also, house project update, site work is done, footings get done on Friday, foundation pour on Monday:
I do not make money on...
Finally snow is sticking up north. Putting the winter wheels & tires on this weekend. This is how it looks at 1600 feet elevation about an hour north of me:
Unrelated...partially related. Started our "Nearly a teardown" remodel this week. Dug out 48 feet for a new 2 car tandem garage, 2 new...
It's on the forecast!!!
Here are some photos from last year. I run the 20" big horn wheels with Blizzaks in the winter. more side-wall and cheaper tire cost. OEM so no centering rings required. Bought them from a buy here for I think $100 each.
