I did not.
Then I drove 30 minutes to the dealer only to be told the parts department was wrong and while they technically have a HPFP for EcoDiesel in stock, they have none of the other parts needed to do the recall. I was sent home with my truck.

FFS.
Finally got the call that my local dealer in Charlotte NC has the HPFP in stock and I'll be dropping it off tonight for a tomorrow recall completion. Glad to have this one behind me.
I thought the EcoDiesel was dead? Looks like they stopped building them after January of 2023 - Last call for Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel before its demise - Pickup Truck +SUV Talk
I"m very surprised to see there are still 2,000 of them "new" on lots -...
46,000 Miles. No issues. Have not had the fuel pump recall done yet. I change the oil every 6000-7500 miles. I'm running EDT, I get DEF wherever (truck stop pumps) and use whatever diesel I can find.
I do change the oil filter with oil and I change the fuel filter every 2nd oil change.
42,000 Miles, Did 7500 miles last month alone around Northeast, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland so I figured it was time to not just wash the truck but also do 2-step with clay bar, polishing and a light ceramic coating. Shop charged $650 (way cheaper than in the northeast) and it...

Budget wise, provincial / Parks Canada camping was $20-$25 a night CAD (or about 25% off once you exchange USD to CAD) BNBs were $115 a night, we loaded up food at Walmart in New Brunswick which meant only one meal out per day. Diesel was the highest expense but in total, it was...
3350 Miles in 6 days. In 2018, I did a 5,000 mile trip on my motorcycle around Quebec, Labrador, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine over 12 days. It was a sprint and I only had 2 days n Newfoundland. I've been wanting to go back ever since so we decided to spend 5 days on the big...
5,000 mile interval oil & filter change on the EcoDiesel. I usually wait a bit longer but we’re heading away for a month so needed to reset the oil change reminder
Also, 10K miles since I had these tires installed so gave them a rotate this morning
In another RAM highlight, I saw THREE Limited EcoDiesels this weekend on my drive up to Tennessee. I've never seen another limited ecodiesel in person but I saw one at a truck stop and the owner gave me a wave and I passed on another on I-40 heading west and then the ivory white RAM caught back...
I don’t get all nostalgic and lament about these cars going away But man, I just have no idea how we’re going to get to full EV penetration in 6 years. 6 years is not much time. That means every new model in the next 2 years has to come out as an EV To get there. Which is why all of these cars...
