I ended up buying one. It's back ordered but I have a 1800 mile road trip I'm doing twice toward the end of the year so hopefully it's in by then. What software did you load?
I tried joining that discord but the link was expired.
I printed it out of ASA + CF. I'll take a look in the slicer tomorrow and see how much filament it uses. Can you PM me your zip code and I'll PM you the cost tomorrow?
That's correct. I had a factory single input DRVM with the camera in the CHMSL. I ran the cable for the second one and put it in the bumper in the 3d printed mount. It's been on a few road trips with the travel trailer and the mount works perfectly. The camera kit for the trailer, however, is...
Hill assist was enabled when I checked. Also, I did notice the 3rd gear clunk once today when driving. It wasn't as bad as before but definitely still there.
As far as I can tell, the new prototype tune has gotten rid of my previous complaints about the clunking which is GREAT news. The fact that they already made the sale yet still refined the tune and sent it out free is a testament to their great customer service.
The only thing I noticed even...
I emailed them earlier today. Waiting to hear back but I'll update my thoughts also after it's installed.
Edit: they had replied very quickly but it went to my junk mail for some reason. Thanks Outlook.
I've actually been towing my 7500lb 30 foot travel trailer the past few weeks. I strongly agree about the downshifting. It does an amazing job holding speed down hill (6% grade even) and conserves the brakes as much as possible.
What I'm more concerned about is the clunk that you and anyone in the truck feels on the 3-2 downshift under light deceleration. It happens consistently for me and I know the issue so well, I can avoid it by using more brakes (harder decel) or coasting much further (lightest decel possible)...
The sensors go to "sleep" and "wake up" when they spin. Mine usually are all reading by the time I pull my travel trailer down the aisle at the storage facility (just a few hundred feet). Don't sweat it and next time you drive, I'm sure they'll pop up on the dash.
I already had a DRVM but switched to a 2 input. I probably don't need 30 full feet but probably at least 25 since I'm running to the rear bumper as shown above.
