Im not 100% sure, but the other style screen is just 1 ribbon connector vs the 3 ribbon connectors mine has. The best bet is the pull the center trim (easy 2 screws) and then pull the metal cover off the back (4 screws) and you can see the screen type. I would recommend using some good masking...

This is a thread to share information on replacing the screen in a first model year uconnect 8.4 nav system. Mine was delaminating bad, and the touch was starting to not work sometimes. I could not find any good info on the internet, nor in reading comments on ebay or amazon. I bought a screen...
Well the new star connector showed up but my front sensor issue seems to have cleared itself up after a deep clean / front scrub. Apparently there were a lot of dead bugs on there from a 500mi roadtrip. So my issue is resolved for now but im keeping the star connector on hand as it is apparently...
I just started having the service parking sensors / front sensors unavailable message last week, every time I start and shift to forward. Glad I stumbled upon this thread. For S&Gs I pulled out the star connector and removed all the connectors and reseated them but it did not solve the issue...
Im running some nexen roadian at’s and have been very happy with them on wear/grip/noise/balance except for wet/snow conditions. They hydroplane pretty easy over 50mph and not great on snow.
Was thinking about going with this engine adaptor and the pac brake filter adaptor and have new lines made up to mate the two. I like this design a little better from looking at it. Moroso 23686 Moroso Remote Filter Adapters | Summit Racing
When the pac kit is installed it makes oil changes much less messy. I was an early adopter and got a gen 1 kit with the black O rings. My understanding is the newer kits use different O rings that are blue I believe and a better material. For now I'm back to the small OEM filter in the OEM spot...
Definitely two of the main adaptor block gaskets. It appears they shrunk a bit and started letting some oil blow by the gaskets. In pacs defense i just ripped this engine hard on a 500 mile trip including offroading and it never lost oil pressure, just dripped oil a bit. Michigan is very hard on...
Checking back in at 20k miles after 4th oil change and my system has developed a leak in between the engine block and the manifold adaptor plate. All fittings are still good but the big main gasket seems like it has failed. Been leaking for a couple weeks, just a drip but its getting worse and I...
My westin pro mod front end has taken a beating over the last 4 years and some rust starting to show up so I wire wheeled and sanded it down a bit and gave it a fresh coat of rustoleum satin black. I wanyed to blackout the screws and fog logos too so i taped it all off and went at it. Eventually...
Mileage is only half the equation, if your vehicle idles a lot, remote starts, heavy towing, etc. the milage doesnt tell the true story of how much wear is on the plugs. A better indicator is the hour meter on the engine.
