    Am I Missing Anything

Currently looking to pick up a camper next weekend. Camper is an Apex Nano 194. GVWR of trailer is 4800. Truck is 2019 Bighorn CC 4x4, non etorque Hemi, 3.92. 1719 cargo capacity from sticker. Have the integrated trailer brake. Getting a WDH w/sway control from camper dealer and some tow mirrors...

Think I found a fifth wheel I can tow....

Disclaimer- I am new to travel trailers. But, may double check that pin weight as the one quoted is dry weight. From their website, the GVRW of that 5er is just shy of 10,000 lbs. I would think the actual pin weight ready to camp will be significantly higher than 820#. Again, new to this, but...

    Towing Sanity Check

Zero....thanks for the follow up on the tire question. Depending on when we pull the trigger on a TT, may see how the stock tires do for some short/ local trips. Glad to hear that the standard load tires did well in the weight range I am looking at.

    Towing Sanity Check

Zero, thanks for the detailed post, particularly the info on the squat question I had. I have settled in on targeting trailers in the 5000-6000 ish GVWR so that put me right at the TW range you're towing. And yep....yours looks nice and level. Fine looking rig you got there. If I might ask, what...

    Towing Sanity Check

Rudy, awesome info. Thanks for the help. Those Timbrens look like a nice addition. Was curious about that as I have heard the Ram coil suspension can be prone to more rear sag than conventional leaf springs. Took it with a grain of salt as I dont have any firsthand experience with it so far...

    Towing Sanity Check

Trooper, great info. Nice looking rig as well. As far as the Andersen, do you think it is easier/simpler to get dialed in as the bar style WDH? Definitely looks lighter. I am pretty mechanically inclined, just have exactly zero experience with WDH.

    Towing Sanity Check

Chris, really appreciate the input....the X23B is the exact camper I am looking at. Good to hear from someone with the same set up. Jeff, appreciate the link, I'll check them out. Just now scratching the surface on researching WDH.

    Towing Sanity Check

Thanks for the help all. Yes....WDH w/ anti sway will be a must. Researching them now. Mainly Equalizer and Andersen. I have found plenty of first hand reviews on the Equalizer with happy users. Havent found as many reviews on Andersen, but those I have found seem generally pleased.

    Towing Sanity Check

Nordic...thanks for speedy reply. Yes....was mainly worried about length and profile of TT. Am used to towing utility trailers, etc....just never have messed with anything high profile. One other question...from what I have researched, seems 5.7 option comes with HD cooling. Does that apply to...
