Any updates on these LED’s coming out?
Thank you,
So far nothing with the whole swapping out the halogen assemblies to the led assemblies. Apparently it’s more complicated than they thought. But i know of a couple different companies that are retrofitting the halogen assemblies into having some halos and putting in their own projectors and painting them. As regards to price it depends on what you are wanting done. They can’t just make the halogen one look like the led assembly which sucks but they could probably add on some DRLs

I got them from https://www.diodedynamics.com. There is no selection for the 2019 RAM 1500 yet. But you can ask customer support or search their store. The exact name is the 7443 HP24 Switchback Dual-Color LED. Make sure you order the resistor kit for it because if you don’t get that you will have the bulb out notification on your dash
How does the resistor install. being these bulbs hook into the cap then twist in to get power? I have switch backs but there is nowhere to fit a resistor

It installs easy. The wiring going to the back of the headlight is where the wiring for the turn signal is. All you gotta do is find which one is the power wire for the turn signal and splice it in there. I don’t remember which wire it is but it’s not really hard to find

Anybody know the part numbers for the bulb covers/caps (high and low beam)?

The tape I used to seal up the holes I originally put in these is giving up... now I’m seeing moisture in my headlights.

Looks like mopar.com doesn’t have part info for 2019 vehicles yet.

Thanks in advance.

I found the harness and all the wires you happen to know which color is the one that resistor goes on.

I honestly don’t anymore since I have done it a while ago. I can try to find a wiring diagram on it tomorrow.

For the left front turn signal you are going to want to splice into the green/white cable and ground. And then for the right turn signal you are going to splice into the white/beige and ground wire.

Hey there, new here, so bear with me. I ordered the LEDs from Amazon (Cougar Trade) is the seller. Installed headlights, highs, and fogs, everything looked great. Then went to take a drive and they blinked several times and cut off completely. All in unison. They did the same thing when I shut the truck off and started again. Any ideas on what could be causing that? Thank you in advance.

Add these resistors and they will work fine. LED's draw less current so your truck thinks there are no bulbs installed. These will trick your truck into thinking you have Hallogen bulbs. Mount them on something metal because they get extremely hot.

Thank you. The seller (I spoke with them today) is actually sending me decoders no charge now. Great tip on the mounting position, too. I appreciate it.

Has anyone successfully switched the taillight brake lights to led yet?

I'm having a hard time finding bulbs that fit correctly.

Anyone interested in selling their LED Reflector Headlamps/Headlights? (The whole LED Headlight Assembly)?
I see a guy selling his rear LED units, but I’m wanting the fronts. My Lone Star didn’t come with them. Wished I payed more attention at the dealership.... I don’t think I can really do anything with my halogen assemblies, and not gonna spend $200 on just LED bulbs to blind everyone. Lol
These halogens are plenty bright, but I like the Reflector assembly looks, better..

You will not be able to instal these on your truck bud. It has a total different wiring harness.
