Why no auto-levelling headlights?

I'm at a loss to understand why a $50k+ vehicle made to put stuff in the bed, which changes the ride height, doesn't come with auto-levelling headlights.
So every time I put dirtbikes in the bed, I need to adjust the beams or blind oncoming traffic at night. Remove said dirtbikes, and I need to adjust them again to see properly at night.
Hook up a trailer, adjust. Unhook trailer, adjust.
The screw is plastic; it's going to get chewed up with this constant adjusting.

Not that my previous vehicle - Santa Cruz- had auto-levelling headlights, but at least the self-leveling rear suspension compensated somewhat.
Even my 2015 Audi SQ5 and 2010 BMW had self-leveling headlights, and likely didn't even need it. It's not like it's fancy schmancy newfangled tech nobody understands how to build.

I like most everything else about the truck, but not putting auto-leveling headlights on it seems like a significant oversight.

The Limited trim with air suspension have auto-leveling headlights, in the form of auto-leveling air suspension. 🙃

But seriously, I can't believe you've been adjusting the headlights frequently instead of just getting some adjustable air springs/bags to put inside the rear coil springs. I've used the Air Lift 1000HD in the past with good results (they are currently on sale for $143 at Amazon, very good price!). They are easy to self-install and they support up to 2100 pounds of load-leveling capacity. You just air them up or down as needed using the remotely mounted valve stem. I used to mount the valve stem inside the gas cap area in previous vehicles. If you want to get fancier, there is a combo kit with an air compressor.

That is a good question that deserves a good answer. It would solve the blinding issues many complain about, so why don't they make them standard equipment? I don't have an answer, but perhaps it is an additional cost no one wants to bear.

If you’re hauling something that heavy, that often, you should look into helper bags to level it out. Problem solved.

600 lbs of motorcycles in the bed isn't "heavy". It doesn't take much weight in the bed to blind oncoming traffic.

The Limited trim isn't available with a quad cab and 6'4 bed, and it's too expensive for a 1/2T.

Thanks for the link to the airbags, when I start towing a heavier trailer I may need it, and helping with the headlights is a plus.

This is probably the right answer, i.e. the market doesn't demand it (doesn't think it's needed?) so RAM doesn't offer it.

My brothers current 24 JGC has auto level headlights as well as auto level rear suspension. I’m not a fan of more electronic complication but I load my truck up frequently (within its limits) so auto level lights would be a nice feature for a truck that toes and hauls frequently.

Not interested in bags as it handles all the weight I throw at it without excessive squat or contact with bump stops. My 2010 was a wreck with a heavy payload so the current coil setup is miles ahead of that generation.

Even just a manual adjuster on the dash to move headlight height would be cool but people would probably adjust that poorly and blind everyone.
