2" Leveling Kit for Air Ride Suspension

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab with air ride suspension and just had the Rough Country 2" leveling kit installed. In the week since it has been installed, I immediately noticed a WAY stiffer ride. I was able to switch between the normal ride height and aero ride height and noticed the aero was way smoother. Yesterday, the service air ride light came on so it is currently at the dealership and I have not heard back from them yet.

What can I do to make the ride less stiff? It is to the point where I want to remove the leveling kit but I know that the new 35 inch tires I just installed will not fit without the truck being leveled.

the leveling kit you are referring to, is it just the bracket that moves the links position or a level with a spacer?

if it is the bracket that relocates the links (adjustment) then that is what you are stuck with.

Best way would be to lose the links that keep the bags aired up for a rougher ride and go with the spacer level in this case.

I did the same thing with the bracket and now ride in aero mode. It's still higher but I notice a think noise on certain bumps. I have since ordered the Revel links advanced package and hope it is better. Then I will get OR1 and 2 back.

WHEN YOU GET IT INSTALLED DO YOU MIND POSTING YOUR FINDINGS OR THOUGHTS ON THE KIT HERE?

Right after I got my ‘19 I put the puck and revel links in - ride quality was the same EXCEPT in OR2 which tended to be a bit “bouncy”. “Normal” and “aero” seemed the same. If you want to level use the links AND a puck, otherwise your ride quality suffers is my .05.

I just wish their puck was 2” vice 2.5” and thus requiring the rear to be raised. Doesn’t make much sense to do a level kit when I raise the front so much I then have to raise the rear lol.

Got my kit in last week. Waiting for a non busy day to tackle the Install.

Install was done and the ride improved after getting rid of the Rough Country brackets. It's back to riding like stock and having all the lift levels available.
