Hey guys,

I apologize if this has already been addressed, I did a search and found no results. I have a 2022 Ram Laramie 4x4 with the 5.7. I have upgraded to the Bilstein 5100's all around with a level up front. I have the stock rims with 275/65R18 116T tires. I plan to move up in tire size to 33" in the future. My question is on the safety of running offsets. I have found guys who say "Yes" do it and others who are very against!? I live in AZ. so I spend a decent amount of time in the desert and do some offroad stuff as well.

If any of you all that have or are currently run the offsets and can provide some feedback I would really appreciate it. I would like to broaden the stance of the truck, but not looking to have the tires poked out much farther than the fender. Any guidance on what brand, size etc. on this would be great.

Thanks, and have a great week.

9 wide wheels will be flush/tucked with your fenders. 10+ wide wheels will have you past the fender.

This was a 9" wide wheel with 0 offset and 275/70R18 tires. Moving to 295/70R18 has poked them out just a bit more. I've never liked spacers. They just add a stress point between the hub and the wheel, especially if you off road.

You mean -10. Negative offset pushes the hub into the truck and pushes the wheel farther out to the fender. Positive offset tucks the wheel into the fender.

I’m running 33x12.50R18 Mud Grapplers on my 23 on factory wheels. 5100’s up front and that’s it. Fit great and don’t stick out much at all
