Hey all, I'm gonna do a tranny fluid change this summer and I recall previously looking for the pan online (through Mopar IIRC) and it cost something like $450-500 Canadian? But I just went to Rock Auto and found the one below which is WAYYY cheaper $204 CAD). Just wanna make sure with yall that this is the correct part to replace the OEM pan and fluid. FYI, this is for a 2019 Rebel 5.7L. Thanks

Don't know about that one from Rock Auto but I used this one from Amazon. Had good reviews and when I got it I compared it to the factory pan. Figured if it looked cheaply made I'd just return it but it was exactly the same as the factory pan. Been over a year now and no problems and no leaks at all. I think it's highway robbery what they want for the factory pans!

My only issue with buying a cheap pan like that is you don't know the quality of the filter. And the filter is the important part.

Have you thoyght about the PPE pan? Then you just need to replace the filter with quality one.

Fair but most automotive items are only manufactured by 1 or 2 companies and are simply re-badged. And this manufacturer supplies the automotive industry as a whole with aftermarket parts well beyond tranny pans and filters. Truth be told, Im not concerned at all about the quality of the item, I just want to make sure it was the correct part number which it seems it is.

Supplying cheap parts, and supplying good parts are tow different things.

Here's a cheaper pan, should just get this one. I'm sure it's fine to use a complete pan and filter assembly that costs the same as just a filter for most cars. Has to be good right?

Why would you get so bent out of shape and bother typing all of that and even linking a product, for something someone else is going to do? What I do will have no impact on you whatsoever.

Sorry for assuming you might care about your truck as much as I care about mine. And others read this forum, and might be tempted to use the same cheap part on their truck . Pointing out the flaw in that thing might save someone a transmission rebuild.

I totally agree with being concerned about the quality of the filter. When I bought it I knew I was taking a chance but knew I could return it if I didn't like it upon inspection. The filter looked exactly like the factory material so decided to go with it. It's been over a year and no problems but I understand wanting to go with a name brand filter.
