Sick as hell at home hopped up on NyQuil.
Figured it'd get a little weird and order 8100s for the rear and 6112s up front, setting 7 should bring my ORG equipped up an inch or so. Yes the Bilstein chart for ORG/rebel says it should raise it higher, but from my research the etorque trucks weight sightly more up front so I should expect .5 or so less than advertised. idk.

planning on either 285/75 on stock rebel rims or 295/70.
Hell maybe even 35/11.5

decisions decisions

A lot of people run that setup. Seems to be a winner.

Just got everything on today, but I'm running into a problem.
I ended up going with 8112's up front and 8100's in the rear. The 8112 come preset at 3/4" threads showing which is the max lift of around 1 and 7/8" lift for a ORP 4x4 5.7L equipped truck.

Even at that max height I'm still about 1" higher in the rear and I have about a credit card thickness of a gap between the UCA and tire. I put on a rough country OE UCA (I know I know) but it prevents full droop and will rub in turns. I haven't aligned the truck yet, and I have some Toyo 295/70/18s waiting at discount tire that will no way in hell fit with what I see now. I've read countless posts of people running that size on stock setups yet my 275/70/18 are barely fitting. Will the alignment fix this you think? I'm just confused because I should have plenty of clearance.

What am I missing?

Pics to come

I have the stock rebel wheels and tires on currently and It is rubbing the UCA. From what Ive researched I should easily be able to put on 295/70/18 with minimal issues, yet its not even working with the stock tire which is why I am so confused.

Some pictures are taken at full droop, the UCA contacts the knuckle and prevents full droop. I have maybe 1/4" clearance from the UCA and tire on one side and labout 1/8" on the other. Did a little test drive in the desert and came back with rub marks from the tires on the UCA, no way im fitting 295's in there which makes no sense.

These are taken with the truck just sitting on the ground

Doesn't RC make 2 different UCA? Oem and up to 3" leveled? You grabbed the wrong UCA

Yes you have the wrong UCA, they don't account for the front lift height with the angle built in

Just a question. Why would you spend good money on good suspension parts and then finish with RC junk?

That is a very good question I've been asking myself the same thing. They're coming off trust me, what should I replace the RC's with?

Many good brands, depends how much you want to pay. I've ran Zone Offroad with no issues and running BDS now with no issues. JBA is a great brand, Icon to me is overpriced.

I was looking at the JBA's and BDS. They appear to not have any corrected angle built in though kind of like the OE RC ones I just got. I'm sitting at about 24" from hub to top of the fender for reference.

See how they're flat or am I insane

BDS is used for their 3" lift kit that I'm running right now. This is what their site says.

Do you know what your center hub to fender measurement is perhaps? I misplaced my starting measurements and am wondering how much lift I actually have up front

No I don't at moment. I thought I wrote it down, but don't see it in my phone. I also never took my before measurement. I'm at work right now and can't measure.

Camburg is great. Icon, King, Thuren is great but very pricey. And Bilstein has theirs now as well.

BDS UCA on the way will be putting them on Friday.
Also got some 18x9 -12 wheels, the factory wheels will be too close to the UCA with 295s I think so the offset should do the trick.

I'll post once I get everything on. Although I sinned with the RC UCA's, to their credit they were super cool and offered a full refund and shipping even with tire marks on the product. So their customer service is pretty legit for what it's worth.
