Live Traffic Fail

Hey Everyone, I’ve seen a couple thread, as I’ve researched here, but no solution that I’ve been able to locate. Apologies if this is already vetted.

I have a 22 Ram BH with the 8.4 UConnect. I have the 17.99 subscription (I know) I have yet to have live traffic…. Ever. I’ve done all the recommended resets, etc.

Anyone have the magic sauce for this? TY !!

I don’t have a direct answer to your question - hopefully someone else will. But I use Waze through CarPlay. It’s not perfect, and there have been a couple of times it comes up with a route that just makes no sense. But overall I prefer it to other options, including the native navigation on the truck. The crowdsourcing for traffic conditions is pretty accurate, and helpful.

Ty for response. Yeah, def use Waze and others (Google) without issue, it just doesn’t address the issue I’m having with native Live Traffic on UConnect.

Apparently when a new subscription is activated, the vehicle initially must remain running for 30 minutes to set itself. After that it should work every time. I upgraded my subscription this past Friday to include the mobile hotspot and the traffic flow has not worked until this afternoon when I was on the phone with Uconnect and they told me about the 30 minute thing. While I was on the phone for 28 minutes with the engine running,all of a sudden the traffic flow appeared so I guess the technician was right.
