Eibach pro truck stage 2 R

Thinking of getting the Stage 1 kit. Is it a good kit? Compares to 6112/5100? They are about the same price range but the Eibach offer 2 rear coils.
6112's are starting to move into the more serious offroad area. If that is your gig then I would consider them over the Eibachs. Generally people run the 5160's in the rear with those. They don't add anything except cooling from the reservoirs over the 5100's. They are about equivalent to the Eibach Reservoirs. If none of that means anything to you then I would just go with which ever you can get cheaper.

Two rear coils..or two rear Shocks?
I believe Eibach only has one +1" rear coil.
I mean compares to 6112/5100 kit (No rear coils, only shocks), it offers rear coils too. But I think 6112 shocks is better than the shocks in stage 1.

I like that the Eibach kit comes with rear coils, so I can get about a 1-inch lift in the rear. However, I know the Bilstein 6112 shocks are better than the shocks included in the Eibach Stage 1 kit. In terms of ride quality, I actually prefer Eibach.

What is the weight rating on the coils? You may not want them.

The stage 2 will be a much better option for many reasons. 6112s will ride stiff on road and bumps will be jarring but will ahve better hugher speed offroad performance.

The Eibach stage 2 will be much more plush on road and have better low speed offroad performance.
 
I have the Bilstein 6112s and they are not jarring and stiff on the road and perform great in my opinion

I bought Stage 2 yesterday. How much lift you have for your front and rear?
 
Nice!! And I am.set to about 2.6" in the front. The rear gives 1"
Thanks I know you have 35X12.5 tires. I wanted to do 2inch lift (Which is the preset for stage 2 front shocks) for the front, just a level for now. Do you think I can fit 35X11.5? Or 295/65/20?
 
I have the Bilstein 6112s and they are not jarring and stiff on the road and perform great in my opinion
6112s are solid. Biggest difference between them and the Eibachs is their response to speed and terrain. Bilstein tend to feel more sporty. And tend to respond better at high speeds. The Eibachs having more plush feel. And soak up the road better at lower speeds. If you're doing a lot of high-speed off-roading and or going with a heavier wheel tire setup (100lbs+ per corner) I would go with the 6112s. If you're going to be mainly staying on road or maybe some light off-roading (fire lanes, trails) and a lighter wheel tire (under 100lbs) Then Eibachs are good.
 
So I have my set of Eibach Coilovers (Stage 2 not 2R), but also having my other parts delivered hopefully Thursday. Do you guys think this will be a good setup once I get it all installed? Mevotech TTX (Upper and Lower control arms), Mevotech TTX outer tie rods, Mevotech TTX front and rear sway bar links, Mevotech front sway bar bushings, Moog rear sway bar bushings.

Also do you guys know what height the stock setup is for the Eibachs out of the box? Like do they already come adjusted in height?

They are factory set to 2" lift..but that can vary based on your Ram's weight.

Oh ok perfect, thank you for that info. I didn't know that, but i only wanted my truck lifted 2" in the front anyways which is perfect.
 
Hi guys, so I got everything installed on February 6th butttttttt... When my mechanic started taking all the parts out of the boxes, both Eibach boxes were the front coilovers and I was missing the rear shocks and coil springs. I couldn't believe it, just my luck. On both boxes one said box 1 of 2 and the other box 2 of 2.

So I had everything else installed, they had to lower the front coilovers as low as they could go so that it looks level with the back until I receive my rear shocks and coil springs.

I have only driven it once so far but definitely an improvement over all the stock components I had on before that were all original.

Just wanted to know which brand or part number I should get for the rear sway bar bushings, as I ordered Moog K202131 but they don't fit from what my mechanic told me.

I will give a full overview of what I think of the kit once the new parts come in. Will be raising it in the front to the original 2" so it should be level with the rear shocks and coil springs.

Did you buy the whole stage 2 kit for just the coilovers?

No I bought it for the whole kit, but for some reason the company sent me 2 sets of front coilovers, when it was supposed to be the front coilovers, rear shocks and coil springs for the back
 
Question - have 24 Laramie. 22's on it. stock suspension.

IF I bought the REBEL kit from Eibach, I'd be effectively gaining a 1" lift front/rear and ability to level it - am I right in that thinking? And that would be only difference - ride quality between Laramie compatible kit or rebel kit should be same?
