RamCares? What a joke!

I had the same thing 2020 ram Laramie longhorn. From the dealership to stellantis ZERO help. Had to go through insurance which at first wasn’t sounding promising, but eventually they fronted the bill and had autobody shop do the work. The frame is so thin it’s unreal. The reseal is more for tiny cracks mine was to far gone.

Just wanted to give a status update on my 3rd brake light/RFHB replacement/Window seal...Instead of $4200 my local dealer ended up only charging me $459 for it. They had the truck for roughly 40 days though so that was cool.. also gave it back with a dead battery since they didnt touch it for so long but would've loved to charge me $400 for a new battery. Goodwill Warranty covered the rental I had too so thats cool.

2021 Ram 1500 Limited. Truck started fogging up in the interior around early December I believe. Dealership claimed third brake light was the problem. I knew it wasn't but let them replace it anyway just to get it done.

Just did the permatex on the rear window this past weekend but haven't tested it yet. Last payment on the truck just went through end of January and I don't plan on getting another truck any time soon so if the permatex doesn't work I'll look into getting Safelite or someone else to replace the rear window with a solid piece and hope the truck lasts another 5+ years without issues.

I went through the same thing. I grabbed some black silicone and sealed EVERYTHING in the back: the window, the shark fin, the new third brake light (all the way around). So far so good after a bath.

I still have a leak on one side of the window it seems so I'm going to try and seal that with what little permatex I have left. Hopefully it gets sealed and i can move on. Then I'll look to prevent the other known spots from leaking as well.
