HELP: 2026 Bighorn - Defrosters barely working

So now that I know how to get full air out of the defrosters, I still feel that the defroster sucks on this truck. Last night, at 17°F, 20 minutes after starting, I still had ice accumulating on the upper portion of the windshield.
Try putting the sun shades at the top of your windshield down. I do that and I think it keeps the hot air closer to the windshield

Given that nobody on this list has mentioned having this problem, I think there is something wrong with the HVAC system in your truck. Blend doors not functioning, a disconnect from the controls to the system something not being connected correctly.
When this generation of trucks were new, there were a lot of complaints about the AC not being cold. It took a couple model years for a fix.
In the users manual there is a mention of setting the temps high when using defrost. I know you are doing this. I suspect the air is being directed correctly.
