What did you do to your Ram today???

Well rookie mistake is what I did today. Was swapping out the front end links and didn’t realize that my torque wrench was broken. Set the ft lbs and starting going at it and just didn’t feel it clicking so I kept going and snap! The second one didn’t feel like it was broken until I went and bought another torque wrench and found out it was as well.
This is why I just use German torque on things like that and dont waste time with torque wrench. Should be able to feel that you were going too tight.

I resolved that easily by moving into the garage completely. Computer, TV, desk, small fridge, dog and all my tools 😁 I couldn't be happier.
I spend more time with my truck than I do sleeping. I do use a bedroom and bathroom. I can even spit on the floor if I want and my English Bulldog can drool all over 🤪
I wish it was bigger but its way better than not having one 😵‍💫

I wish I had that kind of room.
Between our vehicles, tools and materials, I don’t have room to swing a cat let alone move into it.

You definitely develop a feel before it snaps just from experience. The amount of force it takes to break that would be a sign it was too much force.
I think I would change brands just in case you got a hold a bad batch. Even with extra force Id have a hard time believing they would snap that easily.

It was odd, I have been using the same click 1/2 inch torque wrench for 2 years with no issue. I got the nut tight enough with my normal ratchet. When I was applying the torque of 114lbs which is the recommended setting for the top nut for the end links for my year Ram. It was turning with minimal force which made me think it was not as tight as I thought so I kept going. Rookie mistake, my torque wrench seemed to had hit it's end of use. I ended up just buying a digital torque wrench.

Sounds like it. I have several torque wrenches and I find myself using the digital setup most of the time. They are all + or - 3lbs off of each other.

You HAVE to give him some credit he owned a used one that way more than a rookie does 🤪

There are none, for some reason Ram changed the mirror caps on 25 and up. They aren't the same and don't attach the same way as 19-24

Not entirely true. Pretty sure The ones I bought were for 19-24. They attach the same. Just looks different when you get the glass off and not as easy because they cover up one of the clips with molded plastic. So I had to use a long skinny flat head to reach it from the back of the mirror

Attachment points are completley different, I bought some DM Red 2019-2024 caps, took mine off then tried to install the new ones then releasied they were completley different. The ordereing guide said they didnt fit but I thought that was a mistake due to the 25 parts being new. I wish they did fit but they arent even close.

Part number is 2019-2024 mirror cap with the turn signal,

And? 😵‍💫 Do they help or just for looks? 🤪
Haven't been on very long, and with parking in a heated garage......seeing if I like them for looks. I like subtle mods most don't notice unless you point them out. Other than the pictures I posted here, haven't had a single person notice the roof spoiler when looking at truck in person
