Manually Removed most of the external ones and filled a box:

About 90lb.

Dumped it on the grass.
And $20/ 30 mins at the car wash and one really pissed off car wash owner later...

Yeah there's still mud under but it's gonna pour this week. So I'll be going on a long drive for nothing to (hopefully) get more of them off before I take the attachment to properly rinse the underside.

Currently working on the "how we got there" part.

Not today but over the weekend:
Drove through rainstorms and camped through the rainstorm in Gold Butte.

This is Scout. She's way too excited to meet her 2 legged friends after spending ~7 months in New York.

Trail had quite a lot of mud patches. Actually, some of them were mud, and some of them were straight slick clay pits. This, combined with one of the previous trips where I nearly got stuck in mud, made me realize I might need to go MT soon, as I am not really touching ice/ snow so the snow traction on ATs don't really matter anymore.

I like the Smokey Mountains here at home, but I sure do get jealous and excited when I see these pictures. It's a endless playground

Have you had the truck plugged in to see if there is an update available for this? At one point there was a Hybrid Control Processor update available for that exact issue.
I talked to them and the dealer says i've had all the updates i've needed. interesting tho, i had never heard of that one but then i may not have been on the list.

3 years is about when i change my batteries.
test your starter battery, see if it's still good?
Turns out it's the starter batt that was causing the problem... i ended up just replacing it because i'm comin up on 4 yrs. Also found out the batteries from the factory are "enhanced flooded" and in general people aren't fans of them. regardless i replaced it with an X2 AGM, got $94 off and they do a 48 month warranty, compared to the 36 month on a lot of others, so i went with that.

Did it myself and it was super easy. didn't even lose any settings. so seems good to go for now. i did also notice that the voltmeter is more stable now... with the old batt there were cycles where it was 11.5-12.9, and then cycles where it was reading 14.5-14.7. now it stays right around 13.5 - 14.2.

another interesting thing... and this is just whatever, probly software wonkiness... my settings have always had the remote locks set to be flash the lights on the 1st press, and honk on the second... and she has NEVER honked on the second press. Now she does erytime (on the 2nd press.) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Same battery I put in mine before the factory one had a chance to fail.

come out west!
I'd love to do that! I'm only able to drive about 4 hours at a time currently. If I could get to 5 or 6 hours I'd be much more excited about a trip out west.
My fear is day after day it may lead to even less hours in the seat. I've improved a lot from my lowest point and I'm still improving but progress has slowed.

Found some stock Rebel wheels for a smoking deal and put new Nitto Terra Grapplers on (295/70R18). Previously had the stock Laramie 22s with 305/45r22.

Also installed some Auxbeam VMax Ultra 7 inch lights on the front bumper.

i got my own build thread hahaha
i'm actually in the industry and that actually killed my desire to get sponsored lol. can't be objective and i gotta watch what i say so I don't cause trouble for the sponsor partners. and then add the content requirements in the mix that actually makes the journey not as enjoyable.

i think i've said that before (perhaps in my own build thread): i'm the type of guy who pay for the parts (though with wholesale discounts) and then relay my findings to the manufacturers (ie, when things break or when things work well) both in private and in public so they can perfect their products. and because i pay for it without sponsorship, i can call out sh*tty parts and manufacturers without blowback if i so choose to (ie, i speak against auxbeams and other cheap foreign made products when better options are available). that and also my experiences (both professional and my own off-the-clock) are how I build my credibility.
Then there's also the little known facts of sponsorship: there's rarely 100% free sponsorships for high quality stuff, and when it's "sponsored" it's usually wholesale discount pricing or up to 50% off, which I get already. (I mean, if Ram decides to sponsor me a Power Wagon for 50% off for sure I'll take it LOL)

Then there are the chinese brands... many have offered and I rejected them all lol

but I appreciate the kind words!

glad it worked out for you.
most of the time it's the starter battery acting up.
