I have a 2026 Ram 1500 crew cab. If I look at running boards in Amazon, most only go up to 2025 for fitment and I get a warning that it will not fit my vehicle. Can someone assure me that yes, the mounting for the 2026 is the same as the 2025 or no, I need to get some specifically for the 2026?

My wife is getting anxious about getting in and out of the cab as we like the truck well enough that we take it on lots of our errands. And, it's already been on one road trip of ~350 miles one way.

Thanks in advance.

Have you looked into Mopar's running boards? If you look them up on the Mopar site, it might tell you if they work for both model years. If it does, you can associate that comparison to aftermarket boards. Same in the other direction too. If the same part number isn't available for both, safe to assume they're model year specific.

Just not an easy question to answer. I know there were big changes from '24 to '25. Not sure from '25 to '26.

Hey! I’m a new vendor on the forum, and we’re currently offering running board for sale. However, we haven’t tested them yet on the 2026 model year trucks.
If you’re interested in our design, I’d be happy to share installation videos and detailed product specs so you can assess whether they’ll fit your specific vehicle. I am happy to help.
