Heater Core mess

How much of a mess/job is this for the dealership and will my dash ever get put back together without a rattle being created??

Total mess. Got in my 2020 Bighorn, saw the windshield was fogged, turned on the defroster and my entire interior was engulfed in greasy fog bc the heater core **** itself. I had coolant all over the passenger floor as well as all over the entire cabin.

Took ti to the dealer, I have the MOPAR extended warranty so its covered. Told it would take 6-8 days to locate and receive a factory heater core to replace.

What a mess.

Will my truck be ok when they give 9it back or will it be a problem? Ive watched multiple videos on what needs to be taken apart to get to the heater core and am concerned it won't be put back together the way it was.

IMO a good tech will have it back like factory

but it is a crap shoot.

It’s a 10.5 hour job. The whole dash needs to come out. Mine still has the smell. Good luck.
