Just purchased a 2025 Ram 1500. At night, even when in park headlights will not turn off. Additional I live on a military base and need to turn off the headlights and approach the gate with only parking lights on. When turning the knob to parking lights, headlights stay on.

This is the first vehicle I've owned where the heads simply are always on when it's dark.

Is this normal for Rams?

Sounds like your daytime running lights are enabled. Should be able to turn them off in the settings.

This is very true. If you have your DRLs enabled in the Uconnect settings, some form of your headlights will always be on no matter the switch setting. Only way to get then to turn off is by disabling the DRLs. Looks like they didn't consider the military base requirements when they designed this.
