Hi All. About a month ago I installed Vland headlights on my 2019 that originally had halogen headlights. Everything was functioning fine with the exception of the drivers side headlight having a bad connector which Vland sent a replacement. I am running into an issue with the parking lights not functioning correctly on the first start of the day. When I start the truck for the first time that day and turn on the lights, the DRL strips will come on as that is the parking light function. Almost immediately the DRLs will turn on and off a few times and finally remain off and they will not come back on again until I restart the truck. Oddly, after restarting, they will come on and remain on and function as intended for the rest of the day. After scanning the BCM, there is a fault for both left/right parking light circuit short to ground. What I am trying to understand and see if anyone else ran into this is why did everything work perfectly fine for weeks and then all of the sudden this is happening. Additionally, how does a restart change anything since the physical components remain untouched. I did some research on the forum but only saw a few threads with people having issues with rear taillights with no resolution. If I have to swap back to factory headlights I will but I would rather not as I am out of the return window for these headlights and I don't think its a headlight issue but more so the BCM logic.
