My ram. Bluestreak330

sad update.
I haven’t been doing anything with BlueStreak.
My 10 year old (11 on the 24th) bully got sick and has been in and out if emergency vets. Poking and prodding him and emptying our wallets. All for nothing. They have no idea.
Well Sunday took a turn for the worse and we put him on 24/7 survellience. As we could tell he was in his last stages. His breathing got very labored. He wouldn’t eat and wasn’t pooping. Monday got even worse. He was shutting down. We made the difficult decision to relieve him of his pain and discomfort.
My best friend, my child, my first pet… gone. Monday was the worse day of my life and 8 dont know how im going to ever recover from it.
I’ve been so devastated and depressed. I miss him so much.

I’m so sorry for the long pointless post full of wahh and booohooos.

I feel for ya', "pet" and "friend" are not hyperbole, it creates a huge void. Glad you had the courage to put his comfort ahead of your feelings, I'm pulling for you to get through.

So sorry for your loss but now he's not in any pain and he'll up at Rainbow Bridge playing with all his friends.It's so sad when they leave us. Again So Sorry for your loss.

Crazy what losing your best friend can do to you. I have no cares about anythung right now.

But at this point, it’s just staying busy to keep my mind off things.
Gave the Challenger a fresh Royal Purple change. Cleaned up the garden, moved some fencing, flipped the compost. Made a few batches of soap.
Sucks. My family and friends know that my dogs are my entire life. And not one single person reached out to see how I’m doing. Talk about a low blow!

Well. As for Bluestreak, I hope to have some plans soon.
I’ve been thinking about pausing bluestreak ans moving over to redline. Magnuson tvs2300 is looking sexy right about now.

That really sucks a lot of people just don't understand they are not just pet's or our dog's they are family and it is so tough when we lose them. And trust me it never gets easier. Again sorry you are going through this.
 
It’s been a little while. Still working through this thing called life.
Doing a small mod here soon. Tow hooks.
Dumb me ordered the jdmspeed hooks from amazon. I got the next today and notice the quality looked a little sketch. But in all honesty I’ll probably never use them so whatever.
Installed the drivers side hook and bezel. The bezel was a major pain in my a s s.

Got it the other hook, just to realize it’s another drivers side one.

After much consideration, especially because of the quality and the weird rubber bushing, I decided to send the back.
Ordered the Rough Country ones. Hopefully these bezels are better. Shouldnt have to tape them in.
 
i was looking at the mods seems like it would have been better to just get a Laramie to begin it would have actually been cheaper that way....

Installed the RC hooks recently, fairly simple job. Bezels fit ok, I wish they fit exactly like factory, but I didn’t buy oe and that’s on me. if I ever have to replace one or both, I’ll likely order oe.

Not at all… plus I’ve had a ton of fun buulding it my way.

Bought my truck right before pandemic. 35k. Put in max 10k.

Installed the RC ones today. A little easier as the square bolt actually clicks in.

Any chance you know what torque these should be? I set the long one at about 90ftlbs since it seems there is a body mount at the top.
No clue on the front shorter bolts.
