Tailgate LED Strip

I recently purchased a 2025 Ram 2500. I installed a LED tailgate lighted strip. I plugged it into the 4 way connector and it kills my rear parking sensors. I tried a second strip with the same results.
Any ideas?

I believe that it thinks there is a trailer behind you, so it disables them. I'm not sure what you can do, but you might have better luck in the Homepage - HD Rams forum. This is the 5th Gen 1500 Rams site.

This is the answer. Ones you plug into the trailer receptacle the towing module notifies the truck there is a trailer attached and that’s what they do is deactivate that feature. There are other post here related to that.
