I’ve searched around to see if anyone has done this successfully yet to no avail. If there’s a known method to delete the aux battery can someone post it here or point me in the right direction?

it's brand new, i would not delete that battery till it went bad. and all stop start system's suc so that is what i would delete.
well the stop start on the e-torque is probably the best and the only good thig i have to say about ET

Yeah being new, just buy the start/stop module to shut it off permanently

I just bought a new 3.0 last week. My start/stop hasn’t worked one time that I can tell. Even trying to make it come on. Climate control off, seatbelt on, checked voltage on battery. I don’t want it but would like to know why it’s not working too

If it's anything like my old F-150 it means the batteries are low. it wouldn't work when the battery was going bad or low on charge. Changed the battery and it started working again.

I’ll check the battery when I get home with the motor off. With the motor running I was around 14 v. I’ve read a few things about the batteries on these trucks being low when knew already. Just didn’t know it would mess with the auto start/stop.

I just noticed the aux battery when I was checking voltage. I need to learn all the extra stuff on this truck compared to my 19 2500.

Voltage with the truck not running is 12.1 on main battery and little aux battery behind it. I wouldn’t consider that too low. Sorry to hikack your thread.

I already have the autostopeliminator…that’s not why I want to delete the aux battery. These aux batteries are junk and they go bad at random, and when they do they take the main battery with them. Dumbest design ever. They should have just went with one battery that has higher capacity and be done with it.

i agree my wife had a pacifica with s/s and a bigger battery would have been the way to go. i guess the engineers know better?

If your truck is new/very low miles, it may not activate until it reaches a pre-defined break in mileage.

The whole auto start/stop along with MDS is the lamest BS ever!!
Just like anything, some don't work, some people don't like them. But, ya'll are in the minority, otherwise there would be a lot more hate male on the subject. I, as many others on the forums are totally happy with them. And yes, bearings are a problem, bet easy to replace $40 worth of parts.

To each their own, still the lamest BS. :p
