Gear limit switch not functioning

I have a 2019 2500, gear limit switch does not work and I’ve replaced the switch it’s self and the clock spring. My truck doesn’t recognize that I even have the option I was told by a mechanic
There’s no going to that location?

This is a 1500 forum, might have better luck on HDRams forum . But you may want to get alfaObd and check BCM configuration
