Coolant leaking inside passenger side 2019 ram 1500. 2k to have the heater core replaced, so i went with a muzzy bypass kit to get me by until i have the time to tear into it myself. Kit was installed, but its still leaking inside and under the truck. Does it take a couple cycles to stop leaking ir what? Thanks

The muzzy hack only blocks off one hose to stop constant flow. If you don't have both the in and out hoses blocked off, as coolant pressure rises, it will still push fluid out a leaking heater core

Just a guess, but it's going to sit inside with no way to clear until it fully leaks out. You shut off the source to flush.
He shut off one hose. There are two connected to the heater core. Just because the hose that is normally the "in" side is closed off the out side is still connected to cooling system and will still pressurize the heater core as coolant pressure builds with heat. Which will still allow it to leak. He needs to completely bypass the heater corez which can easily be done by just removing both hoses and connecting them together. Didn't need to spend the money on a valve
