Bad MDS Wiring Harness Fixes

Hi all, so I had a mouse get under the manifold and eat through the MDS wiring harness which in turn gives me a CEL of course. My question is would a simple tune like the Pulsar MDS delete also take away the CEL I'm getting? I have emissions due next month and am looking for the easiest/cheapest way to get through that. I'm pretty indifferent on the whole MDS system either way but I also don't want to pay $1800 to have a $45 wiring harness replaced. My Ram is Etorque so of course it requires quite a bit more to replace than just lifting the manifold like a regular 5.7. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, I kind of figured not. Couldnt find a definite answer but I'm assuming it just keeps the truck in 8th gear like the thumb controls do on the wheel probably. Oh well. Thanks.
