Is there a speedometer calibration tool for 2025 Ram 1500? I’ve changed the OEM tires to slightly larger size. The speedometer is off by a mile or two. Called a couple of companies and there is no software available yet.

I would call the dealership, they might be able to change for you at a cost. I think the 25 is too new for a lot of things.

I bought my 2025 at Mark Dodge and had them install larger tires. Their service department recalibrated the speedometer for me, so it can be done. They charged me $145.

My dealership told e they didn't have the ability to recalibrate the speedometer on the 2025's. Guess I need to check another dealership. My speedo is of 5mph at 60mph showing, it's actually 65mph.

Anyone found a solution yet? Still no Tazer available.

you might be out of luck. AI response from Google search regarding Jscan:
"Jscan does not currently support the 2025 Ram 1500 due to new security encryption and a lack of the necessary programming port, making it impossible to reprogram tire sizes and other features as was previously possible on older models. Users are unable to use Jscan or similar DIY tools to modify their trucks, and a dealership or subscription service is required for these adjustments.

Here's why Jscan isn't working for the 2025 Ram 1500:
  • New Security Measures: The 2025 model features new security encryption that prevents previous methods from working.
  • Different Programming Port: The 2025 Ram 1500 uses a different programming port than older models.
What this means for you:
  • You cannot use Jscan or other DIY tools to change settings like tire size, which are needed for accuracy with larger tires.
  • To make these adjustments, you'll need to go to a dealership."
