I own a 2019 Ram Rebel 1500 with 125k on it. My truck isn't starting. The battery displays 12.2 volts of battery and I replaced the alternator three months ago. I didn't leave it running or anything that would cause the battery to die. It does make a weird sound when I try to start it. Like it's winding. I tried to use a portable charger but it didn't work. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you hear a winding noise, maybe your starter motor is just spinning and not engaging the flywheel. Check the starter motor.

After this issue occurred I fixed it with replacing the alternator. I then had an air condenser go out and had to have it replaced. My transmission then started having issues between changing gears. Luckily I flipped the truck on the through way, made it out alive and was reimbursed it's value to purchase a trail boss. Never again will I buy a ram
