I’m new here,
Driving my 5th ram since 2012.
Currently a new 2025 with 3.6 eco that has been throwing misfire code for months now. Dealership says no fix as of yet and to just drive it. I’m a little wary of that advice. Brand new and frustrated. Anyone else out there and what have you done?

Welcome to forum. I'm surprised no one has responded.
Unfortunately I can be of know help having the 5.7 Hemi, but there are engine categories on the forum menu page I.
Just click on your engine group and re-post there.
Is yours the diesel?

No, 3.6 eco boost. Traded in my 21 hemi last summer on this thing. Not impressed. Would have kept what I had if it wasn’t for my son hitting a landscape boulder and ruining the bed panels. From previous experience, nothing good comes from repaired metal.
But look what I got instead.

That's your problem, hence why the dealer can't fix it. There is no 3.6 ecoboost, either for Ram or Ford. You've got a custom engine in your truck.

Joking aside, take it to a different dealer.

That's funny. Once he gets past that it will be a lot easier to resolve.
How do you have a SNOW pics in Memphis?

My bad, as you can tell I’m not a gear head. Either way it’s the 3.6, 6 cylinder, Etorque.
Thanks for straightening me out.
That being said, Why another dealership? One would assume since they scanned it numerous times there is no fix for it yet. That’s what several of the different advisors have said.
I’m just lucky enough that I live 2 miles from them. Can take, scan ,clear and document it. I’m more concerned that if the CEL comes on and it’s something else and I ignore it. Then what.

Welcome to the club. I had a 2020 Limited 5.7 Hemi and specifically opted out of the eTourqe because of all of the issues with the electrical system back in 2020, so I cannot be of help either; however, some folks in here really know their stuff when it comes to Rams, so I suspect someone will be along to provide reliable advice.

The 3.6 Pentastar is not a new engine. Just because it's in a 2025 doesn't mean it's so new there isn't a fix, so your dealer is kicking the can down the road. Clearing the code just turns the light off for a bit until the truck recognizes that it's still misfiring, it doesn't actually accomplish anything.

The last few years we've managed to get one or two decent snows of 8+ inches. It's fun getting to take it out in the snow with the kids and do donuts.
I LOVE snow! I'm in Knoxville and it wasn't a good year for snow. I think it was 2 years ago we had it rough with about 10 days of snow covered roads. I love driving in it.
I'm going to see lake effect snow this year. I'm planning to travel around the lakes unless they freeze over.
I'm just glad someone in TN is getting SNOW. 🤪
