Greetings all,

Picked up a '19 Ram Big Horn Level 2. Firstly, love the diamond black color. Secondly love the power of the Hemi (I've never had a truck this new). First thing to go is the stock muffler, going to get it in for a spray in liner. Need to purchase a tonneau cover, and some side steps so the wife can get in the truck lol.

I'm coming from an '02 Savana conversion van so a little bit of an upgrade!

Thanks all

Great looking truck! Welcome we are glad you are here. I'm new myself and still learning. More pics? 🤪

good stuff.
same thing i did when i got my first BH. but i went step's, cover then muffler. i wanted the step's so i blamed her for being too short lol. did the muffler(flowmaster) and regretted it, all it did was make it kinda loud turns out i like it quiet after several years of loud cars. i tried a soft roll up cover but the Velcro is hard in your hands trifold is where it's at hard or soft.
your never done it's like ya can't something else is always next, i did painted mirror covers, Laramie rims off FB, hitch cover........

Welcome to the forum, and welcome to the Ram club.

Muffler is on its way, just going a bit louder than stock.

Still deciding on what kind of tonneau and weather I want to splurge on a hard tri-fold. I had an old Silverado with the soft topper and I loved how easy it was to take off, a luxury I would lose with a hard tonneau.

I'll do side steps last cause it keeps her from driving it lol

best mod i did imo was changing EVERY bulb to led bulbs from the vanity mirrors to the side markers. the head light and fogs are a must on a BH.bh.jpg

Why no love for the flowmasters? Did you get the 3 inch? I hate the company after the BS they put me through but I'll never get tired of the sound. When people start talking I push the gas down
I regret my step purchase. Only power step will satisfy me now

it was not bad. it didn't sound bad just not for me anymore. i've had magnaflows and flows in the past. i like it quiet now. just the resonator delete will louden it up and if ya don't like it changing it back is easy. i agree on power steps but i got the laramie wheels and the steps for 350 vs 1500 for power steps. i traded the BH Q cab in after a year of ownership for a loaded crew cab Laramie. the only thing i could keep off it was my stereo and the Pulsar.
he should mod his out however he wants. enjoy that truck!

I have had my 19 big horn 5.7 for about 1 year very solid built truck I have the diamond black also and , all black except ram logo , front and rear , I did the same bed liner , Tonneau cover by "yita" and running boards so the wife could get in the studs for the running boards are already mounted on the back side of your rockers. so pretty easy to mount to when you do it .

I'm not splurging for power steps, would be cool though!
