found i truck i like, but it has those huge goofy towing mirrors, has anyone swapped out their mirrors for the standard or had the standard and swapped for the towing mirrors ? any problems ? price ? thanks !

not sure if your towing mirrors are power folding or not, but it should be a straightforward direct swap as long as you get the similar ones.
ie:
current towing mirror is folding, make sure you get the standard power folding mirrors.
or
current towing mirror is not power folding, make sure you get the standard non power folding mirrors.

but to be honest i do wish i got the power folding towing mirrors... i can see much better with those bigger concave blindspot mirror than the small ones on the non towing mirrors. 41k miles 2 years later I still can't get used to using the small concave blindspot mirrors... to the point that i feel like they are useless lol

I swapped standard power folding, heated, signal, puddle lamp mirrors for same featured tow mirrors. Plug and play as long as you go feature for feature or less.

You wouldn't by chance have the part numbers for the trailer tow mirrors you used? I have the same standard mirrors that you had and need to swap to the towing setup. Thanks in advance!

Absolutely!

The OEM ones I found also had the additional reverse light in the mirror. Controlled with cargo lamp button. Requires AlfaObd in order to enable the reverse light. Everything else will be plug and play. Even the 360 cameras.

I had aftermarket tow mirrors (Boost) on my previous 5th gen and while the price point was fair, the quality of glass and just overall rigidity of them were lacking, but they got the job done and at the time, was the only option to keep power fold and it still be plug and play with the rest of the features. Over 65mph and extended out, the wind played hell on them.

Sure thing! Install is super straight forward. Just literally plug and play. 2-3 values in AlfaObd to adjust if you have the reverse lights and you're in business. Feel free to hit me up if you run into any install issues.
