Has anyone purchased an after market 3rd brake light as a fix to their water leak? My 2021 Big Horn is leaking from the corners of the rear glass and the 3rd brake light itself. I siliconed the window with permatex but now need to fix the light. Curious if anyone has bought a replacement housing from a 3rd party company and it made the leaking stop? I figured my other option was to buy a new gasket and put that on the OEM housing.

This has been asked many times on here. Many people have sealed it or used the new updated gaskets. You can search on here and find many posts about it.

Thicker rubber gasket or a strip of butyl rope will seal it. Just do not tighten down all the way, snug it up on warm day, wait a few days and tighten more. If you try to tighten too much can crack the plastic. I put aftermarket on my 13, but after a few years the smoked plastic turned almost a gray blue.
