What is this steering wheel wire for?

Hello. Sorry if I'm posting in wrong place. I went to install aftermarket wheel and noted my factory wheel has 3 wire groups coming from it, whereas the aftermarket heated wheel only has two. Anyone know what the wire assembly on the right is for?

Looks to be heated steering wheel connector C2, at least according to my 2019 service data for my rebel.steering wheel heated, C2.jpg
