Lomax 5'7 Bed Cover

I'm looking to see if someone with a Lomax bed cover can take a measurement for me. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab with the 5'7 bed and am trying to see what the measurement is when the Lomax is folded up (to the point where it still takes a quarter of the bed space before removal) to the tailgate. I think I calculated about 45 inches would be available between the tail gate (closed) to the start of the Lomax before removal but want to see if someone can confirm. Trying to see how this will interfere with a MTB when hauling via tailgate. I know I could take it all the way off, but not having to would seal the deal on this one for me vs others.

Btw.. bed size for the quad cab configuration is 6’4” not 5’7”.

Corrected - it is a crew cab (full 4 door). I always mix them up

When it doubt… hard rollup cover since your gonna lose at least 6-8” inches from the front with a trifold.

Yeah I have a Truxedo Pro X15 right now that is nearing the end of its life. It’s been a good cover but having to re-lift the velcro on each side and pull taught left to right to keep it looking smooth is getting old, along with having to open the cover before closing the tailgate. Also when unrolling it to cover the bed back up you have to do it with some precision to ensure it’s going to lock down ok. Looking for something that’s less work opening and closing.

The Truxedo Sentry CT may resolve all of that aside from opening to close the tail gate. But at that price point ($1300).. Lomax may be a better value ($1100).
