Would anyone happen to know the polarity on the 2 pins of the bed lights or the pigtail harness that connects to the lights?? I have a 2025 so Alpa obd is out the window. Im planning using a spade type connector directly to the light socket pins, then pot it with epoxy. Then doing a direct to battery connection using the button to turn em on & off. I picked up a set of the brighter replacement lights cheap, their oem quality, but no pos or neg markings?? Or if someone can check polarity at finale pigtail connector going directly to lights, Id really appreciate it.

Thanks, now I can see the whole circuit. But it doesn't show which side the clip is on for reference to the 2 pins. I do appreciate the help, but dont want to take a chance blowing a light by connecting backwards. Ill wait for more help on this.

I would just use a multi-meter and check for voltage. The RD is hot, BK is not.
I dont have any of the wiring or wire harnesses, so nothing to check. Im going super cheap route of running my own power wires & switch. I can just try low power with a power supply & try to feed the lights, If I end up blowing one with reversed polarity, the lighs are only $15. I may just try that??
So going on a wild *** guess from your diagram. POS coming from top & NEG from bottom, I hooked em up to my adjustable power supply at 2v, then 3v, 4v, etc, I got to 6v & got light & no magic smoke!! Cranked em to 13v @ 5amps & gave them a 15 minute run, All Good!!
Thanks for the help. If anyone else is looking for the cheapest bed light solution, this is it. No expensive pigtail harnesses. I shoved 2 Dupont connectors over pins in socket & pot with epoxy. Ill 3-D print an adapter plate & use a round rocker switch in the one light with hole. Then just run power straight down to trailer 7 pin hot wire & ground at body. Once it warms up here in MI. Ill get it finished with pics.
